this album rules. it's ruled my Last.fm for at least a month. Limbs makes me want to cry with a passion so deep and profound that i dont understand what is happening to me. i consider Ashes Against the Grain to be Agalloch's best album, followed by their album The Mantle, which imma gonna post in a few seconds. this is probably one of my all time favourite albums ever. EVER.
BE WARNED: there are some harsh vocals thrown in with the beautiful melodies, and the "Black Metal" tag mostly refers to the lyrics that concentrate on paganism and the beauty of the forests of their home state of Washington.
